Sorption purification system Litech Aqua ASORB 2472 Duplex
Litech Aqua ASORB Sorption Systems
Litech Aqua ASORB sorption systems from Litech Aqua are sorption filters that effectively solve the problem of organic contaminants, residual chlorine, odors, color, and other dissolved organic impurities in water. They are designed to improve the organoleptic properties of water and remove unwanted substances using the sorption method.
The main components of the system are a tank with a distribution system filled with sorption filter media, as well as an automatic control valve that manages the operation and backwashing processes of the unit. The sorption media effectively binds and retains dissolved organic compounds, chlorine disinfection by-products, and other contaminants within the filter bed. The operating parameters of the ASORB series filters are calculated based on the practical experience of Litech Aqua specialists, taking into account the required water contact time with the filter media. Partial restoration of the media’s working properties occurs during automatic backwashing, which removes mechanical impurities from the surface of the activated carbon granules, including particles formed due to media abrasion. However, it should be noted that the sorption capacity and reactive ability of activated carbon are not restored during hydraulic backwashing. Therefore, the service life of the sorption filter must be accurately assessed, and the activated carbon layer in the filter tank should be replaced in a timely manner.
In household use, the presence of organic impurities and chlorine in water leads to unpleasant odors and tastes, deterioration of drinking water quality, and can negatively affect the condition of skin and hair. In industrial use, such impurities can affect the stability of technological processes, cause equipment contamination, and negatively impact the quality of the product that contains this water.
The sorption system effectively eliminates all the above-mentioned drawbacks, improving the organoleptic characteristics of water, reducing the load on engineering systems and equipment, and decreasing operating and maintenance costs. Purified water positively affects the quality of liquid products in which it is used and is significantly more comfortable for household use.
Depending on the water consumption mode, different configurations of sorption systems are used. In cases where a backwash interruption is acceptable and there is no need for continuous supply of purified water, single-tank ASORB systems are used. If uninterrupted system operation and constant supply of purified water are required, ASORB Duplex systems should be chosen. These consist of two tanks that backwash alternately, ensuring continuous water purification.
If you have encountered any of the above problems, feel free to contact us. Our engineers will help you select the equipment that perfectly suits your situation. Litech Aqua specialists provide qualified selection and configuration of equipment, ensuring comfort and reliability of operation.
Each Litech Aqua ASORB sorption system comes with a 5-year warranty, which is valid subject to regular maintenance by specialists of our service center.
