Litech Aqua Softer Water Softening Systems

Litech Aqua Softer water softening systems effectively solve the problem of hard water. They are designed to remove Calcium and Magnesium ions from the water.

The main components of the system include a tank with a distribution system filled with ion-exchange resin. An automatic control valve is mounted on the tank, which manages all operating processes, backwashing, and regeneration of the unit. Regeneration is carried out using a sodium chloride solution (tablet salt), which is prepared in the brine tank.

In household use, hard water causes scale buildup on heating elements of household appliances, stains on dishes and plumbing, and can lead to dry skin and hair. In industrial applications, hardness salts accumulate in steam and hot water boilers, which can reduce their energy efficiency or cause equipment failure. Water hardness can also negatively affect the quality of products that use this water.

The softening system effectively eliminates all the above-mentioned issues, increasing the energy efficiency of heating appliances, reducing operating and repair costs. Softened water also improves the quality of liquid products in which it is used and provides significantly greater comfort in everyday household use.

Depending on the water consumption pattern, different configurations of softening systems are applied. When a regeneration pause is acceptable and there is no need for uninterrupted softened water supply, single-tank Softer series systems are used. If continuous operation and a constant supply of softened water are required, softeners from the Softer Twin and Softer Twin 2 lines should be selected.

Softer Twin is a dual-tank water softening system with one common control valve Clack WS1CI TT Twin, which already has a built-in alternator. This design ensures alternating operation of the tanks and uninterrupted supply of softened water with compact piping and minimal equipment.

Softer Twin-2 is a dual-tank water softening system with two separate Clack WS1CI control valves working together with an external alternator (MAV). This configuration offers greater flexibility in setting operating modes, convenient maintenance, and is suitable for facilities with high requirements for reliability and performance.
