Iron, Manganese and Hydrogen Sulfide Removal System Litech Aqua I-Rem 1054
Litech Aqua I-rem Water Iron Removal Systems
Litech Aqua I-rem water iron removal systems from Litech Aqua are catalytic filters that effectively solve the problem of elevated iron and manganese content in water. They are designed to remove dissolved forms of iron and manganese from water. This system is an engineering solution that combines three processes: aeration, catalytic oxidation, and precipitation on a multimedia filter bed.
The main components of the system are a tank with a distribution system filled with a complex catalytic filter media. The media consists of several components with different grain sizes and functions, which ensures effective oxidation through alkalization and catalytic processes. The multi-layer media provides high dirt-holding capacity combined with high-quality and rapid filtration. An automatic control valve is mounted on the filter tank, which manages the operation and backwashing processes of the unit. This valve also creates a compressed air space in the upper part of the filter, providing effective aeration of the incoming water. Restoration of the media’s working properties is carried out during automatic backwashing cycles.
In household use, elevated levels of iron and manganese cause reddish and dark stains on plumbing, dishes, and laundry, an unpleasant metallic taste in the water, and can negatively affect the condition of skin and hair. In industrial use, iron and manganese accumulate in pipelines and equipment, cause deposit formation, and can negatively affect the quality of the product that contains this water.
The iron removal system effectively eliminates all the above-mentioned drawbacks, reducing the load on engineering systems and equipment, and decreasing operating and maintenance costs. Water purified from iron and manganese also improves the quality of liquid products in which it is used and is significantly more comfortable for household use.
Depending on the water consumption mode, different configurations of iron removal systems are used. In cases where a backwash interruption is acceptable and there is no need for continuous supply of purified water, single-tank I-rem systems are used. If uninterrupted system operation and constant supply of purified water are required, I-rem Duplex systems should be chosen. These consist of two tanks that backwash alternately, ensuring continuous water purification.
If you have encountered any of the above problems, feel free to contact us. Our engineers will help you select the equipment that perfectly suits your situation. Litech Aqua specialists provide qualified selection and configuration of equipment, ensuring comfort and reliability of operation.
Each Litech Aqua I-rem water iron removal system comes with a 5-year warranty, which is valid subject to regular maintenance by specialists of our service center.
